Write about a conversation that changed you. What was said, and why did that conversation have such a lasting impact on you?

Response: I came out to my mom in 6th grade. It was a really tough conversation that forced me to face my own identity. It was a really exposing experience where I opened up to someone in a way I hadn't before. It was a really emotional experience and changed the way I interact with my parents. My mom had a less than favorable outcome I'm ngl and that really put a mental rift between us.

Summary: We started reading the poem Incident.

Reflection: I found the poem pretty interesting. It is well written with a thought provoking topic.
