What emotions did you experience while writing your story? What part of the writing affected you the most, and why?

Response: I felt pretty apathetic writing this story. I mean it was interesting to see how much I have grown since 7th grade and also see how things like this still affect me even 5 years later. Other than that I was just retelling a story from a long time ago, I like to think Ive moved on from it. I think writing about queer and trans identity is really boring and cliche but its also a cop out that's pretty easy to do so Ill keep doing it I guess.

Summary: We wrote our own Incident stories

Reflection: I found it really weird to reflect back to 7th grade.

Reflect on a specific gender expectation within your culture that has been challenging for you to navigate. Then describe one clear example of this expectation and explain why it has been difficult for you. Keep your response concise, vivid, and focused on your personal experience.
