In “Missing Your People,” Tracy Brower explains the importance of belonging. Describe a time when you felt like you truly belonged. What created that feeling?

Response: I have felt like I truly belong in our school's theatre program. In freshman year I had a small group of friends but otherwise felt so out of place at school. In sophomore year I joined the fall shows on running crew and even then still sparsely talked to people. As I got into my junior and now my senior year I have opened up more and more to others and I have really grown into the theatre community. I am very glad I got to meet so many nice people and find a place of community at school.

Summary: We did a commonlit.

Reflection: I thought this passage was really well researched and a very interesting read.
