Do you think forgiving someone means you also have to forget what they did? Why or why not? Connect your response to your own experiences or observations.

Response: I do not think you have to forget what someone did to forgive them. Honestly I dont think Cory needed to forgive his dad to move on but whatever. Even though he did forgive him and go to the funeral, that doesnt mean he had to forget everything that happened. Even though Rose forgave Troy a long time ago she still had a lot of pent up emotions and did not forget anything that she felt or the ways Troy acted.

Summary: We finished reading Fences.

Reflection: I thought the ending was pretty interesting. The seven year time skip helped me learn a lot about the characters.
